JD made the announcement on Friday morning on its official WeChat account, marking the fourth pay hike notice the e-commerce giant has issued this year. Procurement, sales, and other “frontline staff” are among those spotlighted by JD’s salary increases, with the group having already had their fixed salaries doubled on the first day of 2024.
