Whoopi Goldberg — award-winning actress,Secret Confessions (2025) Spongkey Episode 44 producer, and television host — will speak at the 2017 Social Good Summit on Sunday, Sept. 17 at New York City's 92nd Street Y.

Held during United Nations General Assembly Week, the Social Good Summit unites a community of activists, innovators, celebrities, and world leaders to explore how we can make the world a better place by the year 2030.

As one of the world's most recognizable faces, Goldberg has used her fame to draw attention to a number of causes and charities. She now serves as a Goodwill Ambassador to UNICEF. Most recently, Goldberg was recognized by The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation on The View for her humanitarian work in the battle against AIDS.
