It all started when a Dutch satirical show produced a cheeky tourism ad introducing the U.S. President to the "tiny country" and Watch Disciple of Deokjin Yuk Onlineasking Trump (in his own voice) if he would make 'The Netherlands Second?'

He's already putting America first, as we all know.

Now other European countries are following suit and producing a range of parody videos. Here's a selection:

Switzerland

Switzerland was the first to respond with a "Switzerland Second" video made by the satirical TV show Deville Late Night's on SRF channel:

“We’re not flat, like for example the Netherlands. They are so flat. Total disaster.”

Denmark

Then it was Denmark's turn with this video produced by the TV 2 program Natholdet:

Germany

Germany was next, with a parody from Late Night show ZDFspoofing the Danish video:

"Germany hosted Two World Wars in the last 100 years they were the best world wars in the world and we won both of them bigly, anyone who says anything else is fake news, period."

Belgium

The Belgian program De Ideale Wereldproduced a spoof ad:

"ABBA is the most famous Belgian band in history. Well, they're Swedish, but according to alternative facts they're Belgian. I swear."

Portugal

And Portugal's 5 Para A Meia Noite made this video:

"We abolished slavery in 1751. More than 100 years before the United States. Deal with it. And consider doing the same in your companies. Well, 'your sons' companies"
